When Funding Makes Sense

When your client needs money for living expense while he or she awaits the outcome of a pending lawsuit, there are a number of sources he or she can turn to. These include personal savings, borrowing against pre-planned retirement accounts, getting a loan against a life insurance policy, securing a traditional loan, and/or drawing on a OPEN line of credit. Often, if these options are not available, a lawsuit advance makes short term sense for immeadiate needs or to win a larger settlement.

An Existing Tight Budget

If your client is not able to shoulder an additional monthly payment, getting a traditional loan to pay living expenses has a very big downside. It would create another bill which would have to be paid each month, effectively increasing the client's monthly out going cash flow.
