While a lawsuit advance is not for every plaintiff, clients who cannot secure cash to pay critical bills elsewhere can use litigation funding to cover living expenses while they await the proceeds of their pending settlement. A lawsuit advance offers a number of benefits to the plaintiff(s) in financial need.

No Credit Check or Employment Requirement

Even clients with no or dreadful credit can qualify for an investment in the case via a lawsuit advance. While a traditional loan requires a relatively good credit score, proof of employment, and evidence of the applicant's ability to repay the loan . . . a lawsuit advance is an investment against the expected proceeds of the plaintiff's claim, not against the client's assets or income stream.
